Now I don’t matter

Now
I don’t matter
I don’t care
I don’t know the difference
Your actions speak

Even in Now
My individuality matters
I am not a thing
Grist for your mill
A task in your list
I am
A person
Who matters
Now

Shift change is not
The Now to wake me
6 am the time for breakfast
I crave and need
My dreams
My Now
My own schedule

Give me my
Now
Am I not still human
Now?
Preserve to me my human
Now
