Friends–
The FTC has issued an alert about fake funeral notices.
You get an email with something like “funeral notification” in the subject line. It may look like it came from a legitimate funeral home. It invites you to click on a link for more information about the upcoming “celebration of your friend’s life service.”
What you get is malicious software downloaded to your computer.
