Preparing for future generations

You will want to consider calling in the elder caring lawyer in these settings:

  • You patient or resident expresses a need for a Will or desires to make gifts “after I die”
  • Complex set of joint accounts/beneficiary designations—one beneficiary here, a co-owner there, but will it all work together?
  • Complex family relationships: unmarried couples, his, hers, ours, estranged children, good friends to whom they wish to make gifts
  • People you suspect do not understand the Living Trust they have
