a natural—and right—response?

What if dementia were not something going wrong in a person’s life, but a natural—and right—response to something in that life—like sweat in response to heat? What if the person were doing exactly what were necessary this moment physically, mentally, or spiritually? Who says everyone has to live in just one so-called “reality?” Who appointed us young ones arbiters of that reality?
